Manager Eduardo B. SolomonA person who is always on the go, rarely sits and stays in his office, this very busy and active Center Manager works hard to keep R and D programs and projects at its best.

Born on January 21, 1952 at Kabacan, Cotabato, to Pacifico and Cresencia Solomon, the young “EDDIE” spent his elementary years at the Kabacan Elementary School ( 1964), High School at the Mindanao Institute of Technology MIT, 1968), college at the University of Southern Mindanao ( BSA, 1975), and his Master of Science in Agriculture ( MSA, USM, 1995).

He was immediately employed as casual Project In charge of the BPI for only two (2) years and then on at the Department of Agriculture as (permanent) Horticulturist I, Horticulturist II, Agronomist II, Senior Agronomist, Senior Agriculturist, and then as Agricultural Center Chief III from 1997 to date.

Being  designated as Center Manager of CEMIARC, he steers the conduct and implementation of various R, D, and E programs and projects of the Department of Agriculture. With his pool of experts, there’s no doubt timely and innovative information on R, D and E are just at hand.

He has also attended numerous seminars, trainings and workshops in the local, national and international undertakings which has added to his long list of credentials. He strongly advocates strong teamwork to further attain the best for the Center. Because of his positive disposition, reflective way of working, he can successfully complete multiple tasks with favorable results.

With his humility and confidence, he foresees a significant career in playing an important role in the Department of Agriculture. Behind all the hard work is his loving wife, Lina , children: John Edward Ian, Bryan Eric, daughter in law and grandchildren.
