ACC III Chito L. dela CruzKnown for his calm outlook and jokes, he is always the one with a heartiest laugh, come pressures and deadlines.

Born in January 24, 1957, this young man started his childhood years at Carmen Elementary School ( 1970, First honor ), Holy Cross of Mintal, Davao City ( 1974, with Medals ) and then pursued his collegiate years at the University of Southern Mindanao ( USM, Kabacan, Cotabato ) with a degree Bachelor of Science in Agriculture ( BSA, 1978 ).

Keen and hardworking, studies and mean jobs as working student were altogether accomplished in college ( as Library Aide and Research Aide ), and so upon finishing his course, he immediately landed a job as Field Trial Service Researcher and then on Plant Pest Control Officer, Agriculturist I, Agricultural Farm Technician, Agricultural Development Specialist, Agriculturist II, Senior Agriculturist, and to his post today as Agricultural Center Chief III.

His innate passion for public service and wide range of experiences will surely welcome ways for outstanding performances in his professional and personal career. He also expressed full commitment to be at the helm of public service and be of help in attaining the Department’s vision and mission of helping out our utmost clientele – the Farmers. And of course, for every man’s success, for and behind is a loving wife Merlita, and children Francis Zoilo, Althea Merran,and Ann Kutty.
