ACC III Felix P. Amancio, Jr.Born in the heart of his place of assignment, “Pepe” as he is fondly called, is no stranger in the community and the office he serves. He was born on February 07, 1954 at Balindog, Kidapawan City. He spent his childhood, molded his youth with hard-work and discipline,at the Paco Central Elementary School ( 1967 ), Notre Dame of Kidapawan ( 1971 ) and finished his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at the then Mindanao Institute of Technology ( MIT, now University of Southern Mindanao, 1976 ).

In college, he was uniquely proud that he showed exceptional talent as he was a member of the school’s prestigious BAND, where he played the Baritone and Radio Bass. This, he acknowledges, helped him through college.

Right after graduation and armed with professional credentials and passion for building a great career, he landed a job at the Bureau of Plant Industry and Department of Agriculture where rose from the ranks as Plant Pest Control Officer, Horticulturist, Senior Agriculturist, and finally to his post today as Agricultural Center Chief III. This very energetic and active leader steers to its fullest potentials, his staff and station in keeping with the Department’s mandate and advocacies. He always boost his staff to always aim and attain best accomplishments and sure enough, awards and distinctions accompany his stint as Center Chief. His station was consistently the biggest income generating station (project-wise) in the past years.

For a man who has labored hard to what he fittingly deserves, he gratefully dedicates all of these, to his wife Israelita, children Illonoire, Frouline, Felix III and Felix IV, son in law, daughter in law, and grandchildren, not to mention parents, relatives and friends, who were way and about a great part of what he is today.
