South Cot. PA Artemio Aguinaldo was one of the participants during the consultation meetingA one day consultation meeting on the Preparation of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Proposal was conducted on March 16, 2010 at DA-CEMIARC, Amas, Kidapawan City.
The conduct of the consultation meeting aimed to thoroughly evaluate, discuss, review and critique the PRA proposals prepared and presented by the Provincial Agriculturists of four (4) Provinces of Region XII prior to submission to the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Agricultural Research (DA-BAR) for further evaluation and approval for funding . Also, it aimed to establish and goal have a common knowledge for the conduct of PRA trainings.
Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Proposal is one of the requirements of DA-BAR prior to the conduct of PRA Training that shall serve as the basis for the preparation of Community Based Participatory Action Research (CPAR) proposal to be funded by the said agency and to be implemented by DA-CEMIARC in coordination with the Provincial and Municipal Government Units.

meeting on PRA proposal Also discussed also during the meeting will be the conduct of Trainor’s Training for PRA Team of DA-XII which is tentatively scheduled on April 19-23, 2010 at DA-CEMIARC for Upland and Lowland, Tupi South Cotabato.
Participants during the consultation meeting were Provincial Agriculturists of South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Provincial Research and Extension Team (PRET) Leaders of South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani, Center Chiefs of DA-CEMIARC for Upland Rolling, DA-CEMIARC for Lowland and Upland, Technical Staff from DA-CEMIARC for Lowland, DA-CEMIARC for Upland Plain, CM Eduardo B. Solomon and Technical Staff of DA-CEMIARC, Amas, Kidapawan City.
